Assist in parents’ and children’s programs by helping instructors with class preparation, supervision, classroom management and paperwork.
Provide needed office assistance by typing, filing, answering phones, sending out mailings, and entering information into our database.
Assist with various Center improvement projects, such as painting and yard and playground maintenance. Assistance is also needed in foundation research, Speaker’s Bureau, and program support activities.
Provide in-home support by acting as mentors to parents and their families. Parent Aides are required to complete twenty-four (24) hours of parent education training. Families are evaluated and matched to a specific Parent Aide based on compatibility criteria. Parent Aides commit to a year long relationship with their family. Parent Aides have the opportunity to directly make a positive impact on the lives of the family they help.
